Smash Burger Tacos
A delicious fusion of smashed burger patties served in crispy taco shells with all the fixings.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Burger sauce (mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish)
- Pickled jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Divide ground beef into 8 small balls
- Heat a cast iron skillet until very hot
- Place beef balls on skillet and smash thin with a spatula
- Season with salt and pepper
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy
- Flip and cook for 1 minute more
- Warm tortillas in a separate pan
- Assemble tacos with meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese
- Top with burger sauce and jalapeños if desired
